Today he leads a team of scientists studying epigenetics and the impact of nutrition and trauma in wellness and disease. He has published scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals on the effects of adverse childhood experiences (ACE) on health and longevity. Epigenetics is how your mind and your food can cause changes that affect the way your genes work. With this knowledge we can work to upregulate the genes that create health, and silence the genes responsible for disease.

Over the last 15 years he has co-led cutting-edge programs with Dr. Mark Hyman,       Dr. David Perlmutter, and Dr. Alberto Villoldo. Dr Hamilton understands the value of prevention and how to help you rebuild your health so you can take it with you for the rest of your life.
